(IN CAR FREE WIFI) I have more than fifteen years experience as a Personal Bali Driver or Private Bali Driver, and I will do my best to help you have a wonderful time while in Bali. While working as a driver with the Astra car rental company and as a "stand-by" driver at the Four Seasons Resorts at Jimbaran Bay and at Sayan, I have escorted guests from all over the world. I can give you advice and suggestions about where to go, what to see, where to shop, which restaurants are the best, and what you should do (and not do) during your stay in Bali.

  We had a lovely day with Made on his Kintamani Volcano tour. We substituted a look at Sanur Beach for the Monkey Forrest, but otherwise we let Made take the lead in showing us Bali. We saw a Barong Dance (like an opera), a Batik workshop, an excellent silver jewellery demonstration, the Holy spring temple (amazing), another local temple where many Balinese families were making offerings and receiving a blessing from the waters of the Holy spring (a very special experience), rice terraces and many rice fields, the spectacular view of the giant caldera and lake of Kintamani, and a spice/coffee/cocoa plantation with free samples. Made at all times drove safely and was very polite and courteous. He has a new, very comfortable vehicle. He has a great knowledge of Bali and its customs and culture and is very flexible with his itinerary, as he wants his customers to really enjoy their time in Bali. We highly recommend him!   20th July 2009. Good Day Made! We had spent 4d3n in bali, from Seminyak to NusaDua to Jimbaran beach to volcano sightseeing to Ubud to Kuta. We engaged two drivers during our stay, and Made certainly was more impressive from my point of view. Soft spoken, courteous, accomodating n definitely very patient! As tourists, we usually demand flexibility and Made definitely made it easy for us. Being fickle minded, even when we requested him to change the dvds during the journey, he was all smiles. Upon our arrival at the Bali airport we were greeted by our driver Made Sudarsana who drove us to Sayan. Made immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable. He spoke English very well and answered all our questions regarding Bali and the resort.   He was the only one who offered us help when our friend was feeling unwell. He offered to drive us to the hotel lobby. Thanks Made! Because of his sincerity and willingness to extend his help to us, we engaged him as our driver for three days. Made was very informative, while searching for places to sightsee, he recommended places to us, such as the Barong Dance, and Batik Painting, which helped us to understand and appreciate the Bali culture. Made was very patient, and never failed to provide us with information about the Balinese Culture, and helped us in getting traditional Balinese goods that are affordable and of good quality. Our friend, Laureen was able to purchase her Balinese plates, which was the best buy, throughout her whole shopping spree in Bali. Made even extended help by bringing Laureen to several Balinese Market to look at the local fruit, Salek Bali. Made even recommended Nusa Dua to us, which was a great area for water sports and traditional spa massage. We did Parasailing in a large group, and some of us did snorkeling and jet-skiing. We spent a whole day pampering ourselves, and ended our day having seafood by the sandy beach while watching the sunset – thanks to Made, we truly had a wonderful and uniquely Balinese experience. Our car trips were enjoyable and carefree, with Made engaging in jokes and conversations with our group, this made the car journeys from one place to the other seem short despite the long journeys transiting from one area to the next. Because of Made, we found the time that we have spent in Bali worthwhile and well-spent. Towards the last day, we found out that our plane was delayed by two hours. Made saved us from boredom by asking us to check-in our heavy luggage and offered to drive us around with no additional charges. We were touched by the offer, and spent the additional two hours driving around sightseeing. We bid our goodbyes to Made at the Airport and he wished us a safe flight home. Made, we will never forget your help and friendliness, for this group of first-time Bali-Goers, you really made our stay in Bali a wonderful and unforgettable experience! We will be back soon!   Hi my name is Anne. I am from Australia and have visited Bali 3 times. On my second visit about 10 years ago, I was lucky enough to meet Made who was our allocated driver for the day. He was booked through our hotel. Made was a very good driver and extremely reliable and flexible to our travel needs. We trusted him so much so we chose him for all our transport needs through the rest of the holiday. When we returned for our 3rd visit I tracked him down and asked if he would be our driver for the duration of that holiday as well. He was delighted to hear from us and remembered our special little needs. I am in a wheelchair and Made was only too happy to help when we required his assistance. He even took me to a traditional Bali doctor, and after he asked our permission, he picked up his Mum on the way. His Mum brought along a traditional Bali offering that she gave to the Bali doctor. This visit was an incredible and truly unique experience. We sat with the locals amongst the family chickens in the little courtyard whilst we waited our turn. The Doctor then gave me a comprehensive, and I mean really dedicated assessment, before making me a special mixture to massage into my body. He then spent some time at his alter on my behalf to complete what I call the Bali magicí treatment. Another custom-made trip was an ambitious journey to the far north coast of Bali. I had a vague idea of our destination, but he was keen to go and we had a great tour of Bali west coast along the way whilst I found what I was looking for. Made was happy to stop every now and then if we saw a shop or sightseeing area. Made is very helpful, keen to service, and is a very flexible man who clearly shows his wish that the traveler will enjoy his country as much as possible. He has many suggestions of places to go, including destinations, special activities/ ceremonies and is on call­ to your needs.
